Strategy is the thinking discipline in marketing and advertising but somewhere between the decks, the frameworks, and the “can you make the insight snappier?”, strategists and planners have quietly burnt themselves out, and that’s why humour matters for them.
I joined Group Think, a UK-based community of strategists and planners, in late 2021 as Content Manager. My job - unofficially - was to provide spiritual support through memes on LinkedIn, Twitter, and the places where strategists gather online to intellectualise their burnout.
